‘Museum Row’ is dubbed so because of its abundance of museums, however Exhibition Road also has a number of scientific and academic institutions lining it. Amongst the most popular on this road are The Victoria and Albert Museum (read about our recent visit here), The National History Museum, the Science Museum, and the Royal Albert Hall.
One can spend the best part of a day in just one of these great cultural hubs so to explore them all would take some planning. There’s always plenty of things to do in all of the museums, and kids will especially love the Science Museum and the National History Museum. The latter is offering sleepover tours for both adults and kids (separate) which sound amazing! Guests get a three-course meal, access to galleries, live music and entertainment, as well as monster movie marathons all night. This really brings the concept of the ‘Night at the Museum’ film to life…how cool! The V&A is also one of our fave museums and it has a great collection of word history for a quick whistle-stop tour of art.
