Egyptian Magic

Ok so in our make-up and skincare ignorance days we saw this ‘Egyptian magic’ floating around Instagram with soooo many glowing reviews testifying to its powers. The brand promises to beautify the skin and leave it glowing. To be honest, looking at the ingredients, this claim is hard to believe but we gave it a try anyway since so many people seem to swear by it.

We got it, and used it, and then the inevitable happened…nothing.

Nothing happened. Of course we should have expected this since there’s hardly any active ingredients in it but hey, so are the powers of Instagram advertising. If you are thinking about getting this, don’t. Unless you’re really curious. It’s pretty much glorified vaseline with a pleasant odour. Egyptian magic? Egyptian fabrication more like.

Have any of you tried this? What are your thoughts on the product?
