Pizza for days!

Tucked away in the niche that is Neal’s Garden of Covent Garden sits one of London’s best kept pizza secrets in London. Homeslice started off as a mobile, hand-made, wood-fire oven pizza service operating in a courtyard in East London. Three years later, the company is thriving, in central London, serving rounds upon rounds of its famous 20-inch pizzas.

On the night of our visit, the place was packed with hungry diners and since our own stomachs refused to wait in the 45-minute queue, we opted to take-out. We went meat-less for our order; half aubergine, cauliflower cheese, spinach and harrisa, and half margherita cheese. Heading into the courtyard, which is technically Neal’s Yard, we found a bench and dug into the humungous pizza entity that sat before us. The best thing is about the pizza is that the dough is thin rather than thick like a regular pizza, so it didn’t stuff us out at all. We would recommend sharing the pizza between no more than 2.

  1. Finding a really good pizza is hard, but once you find that awesome place, you’re golden! Unfortunately, our good place is 30 minutes away!! We need to go back soon though. This makes me want to go back 🙂
