Walking in a Winter Wonderland ♫♫

We love Christmasss! The festive cheer is second to none. You really can’t beat the air of excitement that hangs in the air this time of year. Honestly, even Londoners are more cheerful (a miracle in itself!), and most people in the land have a good spirit. We particularly love all the popup shops, like the Chalet in Selfridges, that spring up around this time, and the christmas decorations and artificial snow on Oxford Street really make for a magical shopping experience.

Christmas time in London also signals the coming off the famous Winter Wonderland bonanza that is held in Hyde Park. If you haven’t heard of it ..where have you been hiding!

This is the perfect Christmas period day out, especially if you’re not resident in London. There’s so much to do here, from circus shows, a magical ice kingdom for children, plenty of fun fair rides, and a huge ice-rink. Going to winter wonderland is somewhat of a London rite of passage with tourists and locals alike flocking to it every year. Don’t be surprised if you bump into a celebrity here too… it’s that popular! Entry is free so one can even wonder around the plenty of stalls and have a bite to eat. The roasted nuts are scrumptious, and so perfect in the cold weather.
